We recently implemented Cosential for Graceworks, a fast-growing company that provides innovative presentation, leadership and communication training and coaching services.  For the last 13 years Graceworks had been using an in-house database to track contacts, projects, and tasks.  Their well-maintained contact database of previous clients, presentation attendees, and leads had grown to 15,000 contacts.

“As a business owner, it was music to my ears when I heard from each of my staff at different times, “This is GREAT! It’s so intuitive. I know what I need to find and there it is. Not to mention the reporting capabilities. We’ll finally be able to track metrics and see how we can best focus our efforts. I really like that I can get to it from home.”

This is just a sampling of the response from my staff. Not only am I delighted with the product, but I’m thrilled to be able to offer them simply a better way to work. It raises morale and improves their lives. Many of them work off-site, as you know, so Cosential’s web-based approach is perfect for us. This also sets us up beautifully as we expand and open other offices.

Some things I love?

•       Although Cosential was developed specifically for AEC firms, this is totally working for us. As you know, Graceworks provides professional training services. I love the custom fields that help us tweak how we use our data. Any firm that provides any kind of professional services should use Cosential.

•       I love how Opportunities turn into Projects. This will help us so much to measure our marketing efforts.

•       I love being able to keep all the project info in the same place. Knowing that if we need to look back, we’ll find it all there.

•       I love that our trainers can go into the project after they have coached a team, write a “post-training description”, so we have documentation of what happened. This is huge since we work long-term with our clients. When preparing to conduct a refresher workshop, being able to easily review what happened six months ago at the first training, helps us enormously.

Okay, you can see I can go on and on, but let me get to Cosential’s Customer Service …

Your customer service people have been incredibly helpful, thorough and so careful with our data.  Just wanted you, Dan and Frank to know how excited and pleased I am that we’re working together. We’ve known each other a long time, Christina, and you’ve taught me well when it comes to the value of a good database. Cosential is now taking this to a whole new level for us. Thank you so much for steering me in the right direction.
